Annual Membership Banquet

The Kennett Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Banquet will be held May 24, 2018.  We will recognize the achievements of the Leadership Kennett Class of 2017 and introduce the Leadership Kennett Class of 2018.  Incoming and Outgoing Board Members will be recognized, as will the Lions Club Citizen of the Year.  Former Major League Baseball pitcher Mark Littell will deliver the keynote address.  All community members are invited to attend.

Mr. Littell is a Bootheel native, where he started honing his baseball skills at an early age. Mark was signed by the Kansas City Royals in 1971. In 1978 he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals where he finished out his Major League career in 1982. Since leaving the MLB, Mark has remained active in the game, coaching minor league and club teams. In 2016 Mark was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.

Mark is a published author the inventor of the Nutty Buddy, a protective sports cup that won top honors from the Industrial Design Society of America. Mark will speak about leadership and how Southeast Missouri influenced his success.

The Silent Auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. and Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.  Reserved tickets may be picked up at the Chamber office during regular business hours.  Ticket registration deadline May 17, 2018.

Board Members are soliciting donations for the silent auction.  If your organization would like to give a donation please contact any Chamber Board or Staff Member.
