NAP Tax Credits Available

Go Back

As you know, Kennett OAKS Senior Nutrition Center was awarded $350,000 in tax credits at 70 percent by DED through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) Tax Credit Grant in August 2018. We have $230,000 left and are asking our area businesses, farmers, landlords, and those with LLC’s for help. The funds will go to complete the remodel of the donated building that will offer new programs, services, and activities, in addition to nutrition, for seniors throughout the area.

If you owe taxes to Missouri, rather than paying it directly to the state, why not donate the amount to Area Agency on Aging for the new senior center in Kennett. In other words, by donating $10,000 to Kennett OAKS (AAA), $7,000 in tax credits would be sent to you to pay the taxes owed, and the remaining $3,000 can be applied to your Federal as charitable deductions. If you purchase more tax credits then you owe this year, you can apply the credits to the next four years rather than paying cash to the state.

Please, help us create a healthy and happy place for seniors to congregate in order to remain independent and in their homes longer. For more information, call Laura Ford at the OAKS 573-888-9852, cell 870-215-1759, or visit our website at www.KennettOAKS.com, and click on NAP

.
Help those seniors who are patrons and clients see their dreams come true with a center that will give them purpose and a reason to get up in the morning and create a better environment for them.
