Now Hiring Administrative Assistant

Kennett Chamber of Commerce is now hiring for the position of Administrative Assistant.  This is a part time position with flexible hours to fall between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. M-F with the exception of evening membership events or special committee meetings.

This position is responsible for the operations of the Chamber of Commerce office.  This position will work under the supervision of the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

·       General clerical-photocopying, typing, faxing, mailing, etc.

·       Great communication skills: written, verbal, telephone, and in person

·       Ability to organize files in both hard copy and electronic form

·       Capable of answering, directing, transferring telephone calls and relaying messages

·       Knowledge of computer functions, word processing software, and database management

·       Financial record keeping experience

·       Ability to record minutes of Board and committee meetings

·       Willingness to adapt to when faced with changing work demands
