and wildlife viewing

Little
River Conservation Area - 1,066 acres
provide opportunities
for outdoor recreation.
It's open to all statewide
hunting seasons, except
duck. The wetlands attract
many migratory birds,
making it great for
bird watching and photography.
Ben
Cash Conservation Area
- a 1,300 acre
wildlife area on the
St. Francis River, is
one of the few remaining
vestiges of bottomland
hardwood trees. It also
contains an extremely
diversified floral community. |

Combs Lake
is a 200-acre fishing
lake with largemouth
bass, black crappie,
red ear sunfish, channel
catfish, green sunfish,
hybrids and bluegill,
located in the Little
River Conservation Area.
Amenities include a
covered fishing dock,
boat ramp, jetties,
an overlook, restrooms,
and a pavilion.

| Parks
- Kennett has
six city parks scattered
throughout the community,
Del-Mo, Indian, Jones
Memorial, Mitchell, Oak
Haven and Willoughby.
Most are equipped with
playground equipment,
picnic facilities and
restrooms. Jones
and Willoughby have walking
trails. Mitchell Park,
adjacent to Sheryl Crow
Aquatic Center, will have
completed walking trails
in late '07. |

Swimming
- The Sheryl Crow Aquatic
Center includes
a junior Olympic sized
pool, a children's pool,
splash pad, water slide
and pool house with
locker rooms.
The
Kennett Country Club
has a private pool,
located at Highway 84
E. |
