Located in Missouri’s
“bootheel” on U.S.
412, Kennett is 4 miles east
of Arkansas, 20 miles west of
the Mississippi River and 23
miles from the Tennessee border.
At the gateway to Mid-America
—Kennett, MO is easily
within a day’s drive of
77% of the country’s major
markets.
Route 412 Highway
Designated #8 of 80 High Priority
Corridors on the National Highway
System. Reports indicate U.S.
412 may be the next transcontinental
freeway corridor.
Four lanes of US 412 link Kennett
to Interstate 55, a major north/south
highway and Interstate 40 -
a major east/west highway. It
is also in close proximity to
the designated routes of the
proposed Interstate 69 corridor,
an important trade route that
will eventually connect Canada
and Mexico.

- Kennett Memorial Airport
- Changes in the aviation
industry will lead to greater
usage of Kennett Memorial
Airport. More businesses nationally
and worldwide employ private
jets to transport personnel
and customers.
Fractional jet ownership lets
companies purchase a share in
a jet charter company, and have
a fleet available on demand —giving
more companies access to a private
jet.
In addition, smaller Very Light
Jets (VLJs) can fly economically
between small airports —avoiding
the airline hub system, and the
security issues since 09/11/01.
Kennett’s 5000' runway lets
businesses fly directly to our
doorstep.
Kennett’s airport is a showpiece
that's hard to match for any city
of 11,000. It creates a powerful
first impression for an executive
arriving by air. It's all part
of the dizzying amount of facilities
information and incentives city
officials have to present to prospective
businesses and industries.
