100-Mile Yard Sale
Memorial Day Weekend (May 21-25, 2026)

The annual 100-Mile Yard Sale takes place each year on Memorial Day weekend. It spans from Jackson to Kennett along Highway 25. Many organizations, businesses and homeowners along Highway 25 will have a vast variety of things for sale, from books to antiques to home goods, for you to buy. Times vary by yard sale. Mark your calendars for the 44th annual Kennett Jaycees BBQ Cookoff on May 8-9th, 2026, taking place at the Delta Fair grounds in Kennett! The Kennett Jaycees are excited to sponsor this family-friendly event that promises to be fun for all ages. This event will feature a purse ranging from $5,000.00 to $10,000.00, depending on the number of teams competing.

KAFTA Fall Into Arts Festival

The annual Fall Into Arts Festival is packed with great performances and activities. Each September, you can enjoy local arts, crafts, live music, and great food. Complete with art contests, walking tours and a guided tour of historic Kennett homes, you'll get a taste of the local music, food and art scene of Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas in one day, in downtown Kennett.
Kennett Kruisers Car Show

The Kennett Kruisers Car Show has grown in popularity and size each year, drawing hundreds of classic car collectors from around the region to show off their rides and compete for best of show prizes. The event kicks off with a Kruise In the night prior, when a parade of classic cars makes their way through town. The car show takes place in Jones Park, in the shade of old-growth oak trees just down the road from the Fall Into Arts Festival, where you can go for food trucks and more goodies.

Organized by the Adelphian Civic Club, there's plenty of opportunities to get in the holiday spirt — and for finding the perfect gifts for all your loved ones. The annual Adelphian Bazaar kicks things off with multitudes of regional vendors offering locally made arts, crafts, and gifts at the American Legion building in Kennett.

The 4th annual Small Town Christmas festival takes place December 2, 2026 in downtown Kennett. There's no better way to start the season as the Kennett square is transformed into something reminiscent of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Come out and enjoy ice skating, games for kids, live Christmas music, local vendors, food trucks, and more. In between these events coincide a holiday movie showing at the Palace Theater and a Christmas pageant.
