MoDOT to Hold Community Briefing for US 412 Environmental Study

SIKESTON The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an Open House from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8th to discuss the Environmental Study for Route 412 in Dunklin County. The meeting will be held in the gym of Senath High School, located at 803 S State St. in Senath, Missouri.

MoDOT has launched the Environmental Study to plan for future capacity improvements examining the 20-mile section of U.S. 412 extending from Route AC near the Arkansas border to just east of Route Y near Kennett, Missouri.  The Environmental Study will begin the process of collecting data and gathering public input to inform study decisions. Completion of the study is anticipated in late 2023.

All are encouraged to attend the open house community briefing, and visitors can stop by anytime between 4 and 6 p.m.

A project webpage with additional information and an opportunity to sign up for updates is available at https://www.modot.org/412.
