Bootheel Amateur Radio Club

July 10, 2021

the Missouri QSO Party will be held on July 31-Aug 1 in a special event for the Missouri Bicentennial Celebration.  During the event, the Bootheel Amateur Radio Club will set up temporary ham radio stations on the Chamber lawn. This effort will hopefully bring awareness of emergency communications capabilities and that ham radio is a hobby available for young and old. The occasion will give participants a chance to set up remote operations, test equipment and operations, as well as participate in a special event for the Missouri Bicentennial Celebration.

A sizeable number of stations are expected to try to reach into MO for the Bicentennial Celebration and Dunklin County as it is one of the more difficult counties to reach.  The public is invited to stop in and check out the event and visit with participants.
